Established as a collaborative entity to investigate, create and produce choreography, Treeline Dance Works brings a fresh and vibrant creative perspective to the field.

Munching on ham and cheese sandwiches atop a waterfall in New Jersey, dance artists Jenny Showalter and Lyndsey Vader sat almost level with the treeline agreeing that this place would be an ideal haven for dancemaking, a locale where the eyes could meet its source.

This moment sparked within the two a sense of solidarity from which Treeline’s work grows as its co-founders are rooted into each other’s creative inspiration.
